The Chamber Ambassadors Program is looking for members who want to be an active part of this leadership group.

Who are the Chamber Ambassadors???

Chamber Ambassadors are community leaders and liaisons who help the Berthoud Area Chamber of Commerce in a number of ways by hosting events and helping to recruit new members. This is a great opportunity to network with new members and introduce your business among our current chamber partners in an educational and informative setting.

The BACC is the driving force behind great community events like Berthoud Day on the 1st Saturday in June, the Berthoud Outdoor Quilt Show on the 3rd Saturday in June, Berthoud Oktoberfest on the first Saturday in October, and the Parade of Lights during Christmas in Berthoud the 1st week in December. Events are great opportunities to get involved in your community.

So you see, the Chamber Ambassadors play an integral role in our business community.

Our meetings are held on the 2nd Thursday of the month.  We meet at 8 am at Grace Place.

Chamber Ambassadors help keep the business community strong and vibrant.

Represent your business through the Berthoud Area Chamber of Commerce. Come join us. You’ll make friends, business contacts…and find your next prospect or client.

What is an Ambassador: a person who acts as a representative or promoter of a specified activity, "he/she is a good ambassador for the industry".  Synonyms: campaigner, representative, promoter, champion, supporter, backer, booster.

As an Ambassador of the Berthoud Area Chamber of Commerce you are part of an elite group. The Ambassadors work with the Chamber to increase membership, improve membership retention, strengthen awareness of Chamber benefits, and assist with various Chamber events.

Ambassadors have the opportunity to be a leader for the business they work for and for the community in which they are affiliated. Ambassadors also provide assistance to the staff and board members of the chambers as serving as a “welcome committee” to new members.

Requirements/Responsibilities:
*Attend meetings, reply to emails if not able to attend
*Attend Ribbon Cuttings, Business after Hours, Business before Hours, Luncheons
*Volunteer at special events such as Berthoud Day, Quilt, Art & Craft Show, Golf Tournament, Oktoberfest
*Sit on at least one committee
*Sign the “Ambassador Contract” each year

As an Ambassador to the Berthoud Area Chamber of Commerce I will:
Represent the Berthoud Area Chamber of Commerce in a respectful manner, keep information confidential, volunteer to help with several different Chamber events, promote new membership, help to retain current membership, attend monthly meetings on the 2nd Thursday of each month, take a call list to encourage new members to be involved.
